Going into the seventh year of our Wagyu program, we’re always working on making a good thing even better. Last year we had our purebred Wagyu heifers artificially inseminated by the #1 Wagyu scored bull in all of North America. (Offspring pictured below.)

Once they’ve matured, we’re sure that this beef will be nothing short of spectacular. You’ll begin to see these beauties in our retail shops and through our restaurant partners beginning in late spring 2012.

We’ve also developed a special new feeding regime for them, all grown on-site at Cumbrae Farms. This will also benefit our Angus program as they will receive the same feed.
